A familiar time/rep format. You might need a counter, and if balance on step ups is an issue, a spotter. Optimally, the step up should produce a 90 degree position between the torso and femur. Adjust accordingly.



VARSITY

4 Rounds each lasting 4 minutes

Max Barbell Step Ups (Right then Left) with the remainder of the 4 minutes (95/65) (Barbell in the rack position)

Rest 1:00 Between Rounds


JV

4 Rounds each lasting 4 minutes

Max Barbell Step Ups with the remainder of the 4 minutes (20kg/15kg)

Rest 1:00 Between Rounds


Masters

4 Rounds each lasting 4 minutes

Score is the total number of step ups

*If during warm up/preparation phase the step ups look or feel questionable remove the barbell
